1043 N Rush Street had been occupied for nearly 30 years by Carmine's, a famous Chicago Italian restaurant, when L3 acquired the building in 2022. The property is being redeveloped into a new, two-story retail building that will be completed in 2024. Carmine's will return to 1043 N Rush St and has leased the entire second floor of the building.
