L3 Capital has started construction at 149 Newbury Street in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. The former parking lot at the corner of Newbury Street and Dartmouth Street is being redeveloped into a 5-story mixed-use retail and office building totaling 43,500 square feet.
This iconic building will be completed in Q2 2023 and offer up to 16,000 SF of retail space on the first two levels and 27,500 square feet of office space above.
The building was designed by Nelson Worldwide and will be constructed by Shawmut Design and Construction. Other strategic partners include RL Edward Partners, Thornton Tomasetti, IBI Group, Syska Hennessy Group, and Howard Stein Hudson.
